Delicately hand crocheted & stitched earrings using lilac and slate enamelled copper, and hand dyed yarn, embellished with stormy colour crystals.
These mixed media earrings feature intricate semi-circular crocheted wire rising above a fan of crocheted deep purple hand dyed yarn, like the moon at dusk rising in the stormy sky.
These pieces are made with specialist hand-dyed yarn by The Fibre Fox based in Lincolnshire UK, and formed part of their Witcher Collection.
How the yarn colours fall within the piece may vary depending on which part of the yarn I start crocheting with, but any variation will be very slight.
I will always try to mirror the earrings so that the colours are as symmetrical and balanced as possible.
Crystals violet, deep tanzanite and graphite, frame the bottom edge, like twilight glistening stars.
They are finished with sterling silver earring hooks and measure 3cm across at it's widest point and 4cm from top of hook to bottom of the earrings.
These are a made-to-order item.
